Recebi esse documentário por indicação de um amigo e achei sensacional o trabalho do Stephan na cidade de Lençois na Bahia. Impressionante como a arte se integra e representa a realidade local. Seu desprendimento em não vincular a arte ao comercial, liberta o Stephan para identificar e estabelecer um elo entre a realidade local e sua arte, suas crenças, superstições e expectativas. Que um artista tem sensibilidade para fazer uma leitura própria de uma realidade e transformar esse sentimento em arte, isso ao menos já se espera, agora o mais bacana é o caminho inverso quando a realidade local se integra com a arte de Stephan. Muitas vezes, as pessoas que detem a comercialização dos produtos, sejam eles de qualquer mercado, crêem que o povo não tem a sensibilidade de reconhecer a arte, independente do conceito de belo ou não, da estética. Quantas vezes clientes nossos, justificam que não vão querer arriscar em um trabalho mais conceitual por que acham que o povo não gosta e mantemos nossa criatividade na gaveta mecanizando o processo como numa padaria? I received this documentary on advice of a friend and found the sensational work of Stephan in a city called Lençois of Bahia. Amazing as the art is integrated and represents the local situation.
